Startup Moreton Bay Region (SMBR) is a program of training, coaching and peer support.

The training focuses on planning, execution and sustainability.

SMBR animates small business by combining fun and practical learning experiences with formal training (the Cert III in Micro Business Operations) through our RTO partner Australasian Leadership Academy.

Past program participants have said the program is "Very engaging and accessible. Liked the interactive nature of the delivery.  Extremely high quality and good value".
Enter the Young Starter's Competition
The Young Starters’ Competition encourages young Queenslanders aged 15 to 24 to participate in entrepreneurial activities and promotes entrepreneurship as a career choice.

It was developed to help Young people learn how to be successful entrepreneurs or build on their existing business skills.

What is Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay?

Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay (RDAMB) is part of a national network of organisations, which in Queensland is funded through the Australian Government to promote the economic development of the Moreton Bay region.

The role of RDAMB is to:

  • Develop and implement a Regional Plan
  • Provide advice on critical issues affecting the region
  • Identify and implement initiatives to tackle the region's economic development priorities
  • Generate project proposals for the National Stronger Regions Fund
  • Promote Australian Government Programs.
