Local Tastes Moreton Bay Region
Friday 21 October 2016

There’s no denying it — the Moreton Bay region is home to exceptional local produce; both from the bay and on our farms. We’ve got an abundance of seafood, most notably our local heroes; Moreton Bay Bugs and oysters, as well as award-winning wine and amazing local produce that all compete strongly nationally and internationally in the food and wine market.

To celebrate all things fresh and local, Moreton Bay Region Industry and Tourism (MBRIT) has introduced Local Tastes, the brand new edition to their annual calendar of networking events. And who better to celebrate the best of Moreton Bay food than local girl turned MasterChef Australia 2015 runner-up, Georgia Barnes.  Tickets to the event are on sale now.

Seeking local providers

Providers of local produce are also being sought for this event for a tasting stall prior to the luncheon, supply of fresh produce (for stage presentation or luncheon) or workshop/talk host. Producers are being sought from the Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast or surrounding regions.
