The “SexED UP Expo” is for adults living with a disability, their partners, family, current and future Health, Community and Disability sector workers and those with an interest in this area.

The Expo will provide an exciting opportunity to attend workshops, information and training sessions to address sexuality and intimacy of people living with a disability. Sessions provide a platform for discussion, education and policy development to improve, enable and enhance this often unacknowledged aspect of people’s lives.

Inner South Community Health RhED program is supporting this event with workshops and information on how people with disability are able to connect with the sex industry.
Email if you are interested in attending.
Pathways Program
The needs and rights of all workers to have access to support and training when a change in career is required was a key theme of an event held at RhED on 21 October. The event celebrated the launch of the Pathways Program's refunding for a further four years.
The event was attended by some notable community members including Hon Martin Foley, Vic Pol Port Phillip Commander, DHHS Regional Manager, the ISCH Chairperson, and two participants of the Pathways Program. The participants spoke eloquently of the barriers that present as a result of discrimination and stigma that sex workers can experience when wanting to change employment.
