Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! St. Anthony School kicked off the year with professional development and welcoming activities for our teachers, parents, and students.

Our teachers prepared for the new year by unpacking teaching strategies and best practices to enhance student learning and set the tone for a successful school year.
|
|
|
St. Anthony School held our annual Back to School Barbeque on Saturday, August 20. Parents and students enjoyed music, a bounce house, food, and more. Raffle winners left the event with prizes big and small, from gift baskets to a brand new TV!
|
|
|
Bishop James Schuerman, an auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, joined us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, September 9. After the ceremony, Bishop Schuerman celebrated Mass with nearly 1,000 middle and high school students. Also present were Thomas Rosenthal from Northwestern Mutual, John Marek from the Faith in Our Future Trust, Bruce Varick, Associate Superintendent of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, and Gina Spang from VJS Construction Services. Press coverage was provided by WISN-TV, Telemundo, and the Catholic Herald.

Our preschool children have worked hard to learn and grow through various activities and play! Pictured are our K3 students building early literacy skills by identifying, drawing, sculpting, and matching letters.

The Lower Campus students started the year off excited to learn about our school's expectations for academics and behavior. Mrs. Rodriguez-Reed and her team reminded students how to be their best at SAS!

Our friends at KPMG LLC equipped K5 through 2nd-grade students with backpacks, school supplies, snack packs, and books! They also donated $750 of books to our campus classrooms. We are very grateful for their support and investment in our students!

Upper Elementary School scholars are excited to be back in school and learning new things. We were delighted to celebrate our Catholic faith with our first campus Mass on Friday, September 9th.
|
|
St. Anthony Middle School students are acclimating to their new building and are excited and energetic for the new year.
Registration is now open for Middle School drumming classes and soccer. Forms are available in the front office for interested students.

|
Grade-level meetings were a successful way to update our students with vital information to start the school year off on a positive and productive note. Our students also participated in a prayer service last week.
|
|
|
Join us for our 150th Anniversary Celebration! All guests are invited to attend Mass at St. Anthony Church (1711 S. 9th St) at 3:30 p.m. with special performances by the Florentine Opera and Milwaukee Children's Choir. The gala will start at 5:30 p.m. at St. Anthony Middle & High School (4807 S. 2nd St.) and includes dinner, live and silent auctions, and student performances.

St. Anthony School will be celebrating the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s 10th Annual Catholic Schools Walk with an event at our middle and high school campus on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
|
|
|
Mayor Cavalier Johnson has proclaimed Friday, November 18, 2022, as St. Anthony Parish and School Day throughout Milwaukee, celebrating our 150th Anniversary!

|
Interested families may contact our admissions office at (414) 837-3300 to enroll or schedule a tour! The current Parental Choice enrollment window for the 2022-2023 school year is September 1-14.
