Mulch Project Help Needed
We are having mulch delivered the week of March 20 at 9:30.
Chris Cowell is bringing his tractor/bucket to deliver the mulch to various locations so all that is needed is a group of 10 people to spread the mulch around in the flower beds. Help us get this done quickly by bringing a garden rake and gloves and a couple hours of your time to get the property ready for Easter!
Thank you for whatever time you can donate!
Please RSVP to Kim Moore 937-305-3959.

Prayer Vigil Sign Up Information
The next prayer vigil will happen on April 7 and 8
Friday, April 7 from 8:00pm to 11:00pm and on
Saturday, April 8, from 5:00am to 8:00am.
You can come to the Sanctuary (or the prayer room) in the
Main Building for quiet prayer.
If you’re unable to participate in the Vigil during those hours, we ask you to commit to praying at home overnight at some point between Friday 11:00pm until Saturday until 5:00am.
We’re asking folks to sign up for one half-hour shifts during the Vigil so that the praying will go on constantly for the entire
twelve hours.
Multiple people can sign up for individual shifts.
"Prayer Helps" will be available and will be sent as a Special Edition of The Wave to every household.
Someone from the congregation will be present in the building when you arrive to pray. So, you’ll never be alone, although we are asking that in both the Sanctuary or in the Prayer Room, unless you’re praying in tandem with someone else, that silence be maintained during the vigil as much as possible.
UPDATED: Prayer Vigil Sign Up Information
There was an error in the links we provided to sign up for the prayer vigil. Please click the button below to use the updated link to sign up. You can choose in-person prayer times or at home prayer times after you click the link. God Bless!

Prayers of the Church
Third Sunday in Lent
12 March, 2023
Let us pray for the whole people of God in Christ Jesus and for all people according to their needs.
Sustaining God, renew us in the gift of Baptism. Throughout this Lenten journey may Your promise of new life in Christ move us to repentance and transformation. Cleanse our hearts, strengthen our faith, and keep us faithful to the covenant of Baptism. Let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
Heavenly Father, Help us to ignore the false teaching of the world’s religious systems that lies to us by the way of salvation. Constantly teach us that we are saved from sin and death solely by Your grace through the faith in the crucified and risen Jesus that You give to us through Your Word and Sacrament. Let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
Mighty God, strengthen us as brothers and sisters in Your church, so that we may joyfully obey Your will. Strengthen and bless those who preach, teach, and shepherd congregations. Keep them faithful to Your Word so that they may diligently speak your truth to the flocks to which you have called them to serve. Let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
God of righteousness, You call Your people to strive for justice and peace in all the world, following the example of our Lord, Jesus. Grant wisdom and compassion to all in authority, that they may govern with justice and equity. Raise up faithful servants who will serve as peacemakers in the places where violence and war is a daily reality, and shape us to be those who bear peace in our ordinary daily interactions. Let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
Heavenly Father, hold in Your tender care all those who suffer in any way – physically, emotionally or spiritually. Strengthen and support caregivers and medical professionals that they may act with compassion and minister with technical skill. We pray especially for Bob Lillie, Lou Gabbard, Brady Willman, Jenny Schultz, Lynne Collins, Cliff, Barbara Benkner, Marge Lingo, Klara Vajna, Georgeann Smith, Robert Winslow, Connie Compton, Ron Meyer, Steve Rabolt, Jennifer Dowell, Ryan Ramsey, Tim Tehan, Bob Hoff, “Bill”, Pastor Phil Gagnon, Phyllis Potts, John and Maryanne Thulin, Vicky Peters, Georgia Bennington, Ellen Prasse, Ava Connerty, Aaron, Joshua, Pastor Chuck and Clara Beckett, Alicia, Shirley Parsons, Linda Spangler, Gladys Fuller, Eric Walker, Bob Atkins, Jim Conerty, and Pastor Jody Becker. Let us pray to the Lord.
Lord, have mercy.
Into Your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in Your mercy through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
