What's Happening at ILP

12th October 2021
Is your content 2022 ready?
Hi <<First Name>>
"Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where
there is no path and leave a trail."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

Our masterclass last week was a valuable wake-up call for many participants, as we heard from two business specialists about the risks, liabilities, and mitigation steps, including insurance, for L&D. The recording is available for members on our Resources webpage. We recommend everyone listens in.

In next Wednesday's masterclass we explore another important topic for success as L&D professionals, - what will content need to look like in 2022. As we enter the end of year planning period there are some serious questions that need to be asked, so Register Now and see more information below.

Welcome to this week's What’s Happening @ ILP.

Did You Know - Hints, Tips, News

Did you know the L&D industry isn't the only one going through massive change, and will continue to do so for some time? Of course you do, BUT have you done the necessary investigation into how it affects you?

For example, ILP's supporting partner Insurance Advisernet has just sent out their October Update, which all ILP members with insurance should receive. If not, contact them. Download their General Insurance Landscape update.
A year in review. Update to members.
As part of the APAC Learning Impact Awards celebration evening CEO Kerry Brocks and COO Bill Jarrard kicked things off with an update for members on the last year, and what a year it has been.

The Infographic below highlights many of what our community achieved, and we'll shortly load up a narrated version, so you can hear all the details.

Brisbane is lucky enough not to be in lockdown, and we hope it stays that way, so the social gathering they have on 19 October goes ahead.
Our Next Masterclass
Will your content cut it in 2022?
Will you be ready for 2022? Will Your content still cut it? Are you thinking of taking it online? Should You?
Wednesday 20 October 2021
3:30-5:00 Syd/Melb time

As we seem to be hurtling towards the end of another challenging year, ILP wants to support members as we all start to look at the Year-End planning everyone in L&D and business should be doing.

To help support this, our next ILP masterclass may be another Wake-Up Call for many of our members, and in this event with David King, we will explore the idea and wisdom of moving content online, for those who are doing it now, are thinking of doing it, and are resisting it. Don't miss this one.

The ILP L&D Capabilities Framework and Assessment are your starting point for ongoing professional development.

Every L&D professional knows that to stay ahead in any field requires a commitment to lifelong learning. And with the changing world we play in now, this commitment has never been more important.

The L&D Capabilities Framework highlights 6 dimensions and 18 capabilities important for anyone in L&D. Explore it now
