Happy Friday!

I hope you've had a great week!

My husband and I celebrated our 14-year anniversary on Tuesday, so it's been a fun week for me. We managed to get out and celebrate before returning for our son's hockey game and our daughter's dance class. Never a dull moment at this stage in our lives! I wouldn't trade the chaos for anything.

And we're into Fall! I'm so excited to change up my go-to meals with yummy fall flavors. I've officially switched from peppermint in my morning smoothie to cinnamon or ginger (I'm a creature of habit, what can I say!).

If you're a smoothie-drinker like I am, you have to try this one! 

Ginger Pear Smoothie
1 cup unsweetened coconut or almond milk
1 handful leafy greens
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 pear
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (or 1 drop doTERRA Cinnamon EO)
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger* (or 1 drop doTERRA Ginger EO)
1 serving protein powder 

Blend all ingredients together, adding more milk if needed for desired consistency.

*Ginger flavor will get stronger as smoothie sits so keep that in mind as you make your smoothie. Start small!
