YOGALEN: Classes are BACK ON!

Yeah! Classes are BACK ON

I’m back in the country and all my classes are on as usual, starting from Monday 22 July. I've spent two weeks in the sun and the sea, and I can't wait to get teaching again. So pack your yoga stuff and get ready for YOGALEN: the bronze edition.

I've also got a couple of new classes in the lovely studio at Activ Tailored Fitness, so you can do MORE yoga than ever before. Pretty good, right?

Here goes:

Monday evening: 19.15-20.15, Hillhead Sports Club
Tuesday morning: 07.00-08.00, Activ Tailored Fitness, Dundas Street
Tuesday evening: 18.00-19.00 SDTA, 101 Park Road
Wednesday: 13.10-13.50 @ BBC
Thursday morning: 07.10-08.10, Forward Fitness, 22 Jamaica Street
Thursday evening: 17.45-18.45 Activ Tailored Fitness

Phew. At some point I'ma make a sweet graphic for my timetable, complete with swooshy lines and a good font, but for now we'll have to make do with a list.

And, as always, there's more info on the website:

Mandatory beach yoga photo

Yeah so while I was away I was going to post lots of photos of yoga on the beach, on the mountains, in the sunset - because if you can't make everyone jealous of your life and your back bends then what the hell are holidays and yoga for?

But then it occurred to me that the internet is full of yoga teachers busting moves to suitably spiritual backdrops, and plenty of people look much better in a bikini than I do. Plus I was way too busy sunning myself to even think about Wi-Fi.

Then I compromised:
Beach savasana

NEW classes! Activ Tailored what now?

Activ Tailored Fitness: a great studio tucked away on Dundas Street, opposite the bit of Queen Street Station where all the taxis queue up. I'll be there twice a week from now on:

Tuesdays 7-8am Morning Flow

Thursdays 6.15-7.15pm Yinyasa

The yinyasa class on a Thursday evening will be a slower-paced restorative class designed to complement your more rigorous yoga practice, running regime, climbing habit, and all-round go-getteriness. It's like sending a big thank you card to your hamstrings.
