Go Imps!! | | A Victory for HomecomingThe Varsity team won their first conference game of the season against Green Hope. This was the first win over rival Green Hope in 11 years! The team has battled each game and if the Varsity Imps win their remaining games, they can make the playoffs. They started towards that goal with their second conference win away at Apex Friendship on October 14. The JV team is undefeated in the conference and 8-1 overall! From Coach Tyrance- “Homecoming was a special day for our school and program. From the start of the day, the school spirit was amazing. The band played during school, teachers organized a pep rally, and the parade was exciting for our players. The team used that energy to dominate on the field. We just have to continue the progress and culture here in Imp Land.” Check out the latest Cary football article in the local online newspaper, The Papur , for full coverage of the Homecoming game! |

| | | | Many people do not realize that Wake County provides each school with less than $1,000 to operate their athletics program each year. At Cary High, this is supposed to cover expenses for around 40 athletic teams including equipment, uniforms, facilities maintenance, referees, and transportation. Cary High raises about half of the necessary funds on gate ticket sales but that still does not cover the majority of our expenses. We are so grateful to have many area businesses that have stepped in to give us the extra support that we need to provide a quality athletics program. Many of our sponsors currently have or have had children or grandchildren at our school like Ally Albert of Choice Residential Realty, First Bank, Hummingbird Creative, Eco Pro Mulch, Mosquito Wizard of NC, SmithSandlin Wealth Planning, MVP Plan Administrators, and Young Writers’ Institute. Many of our sponsors are alumni themselves and have chosen to give back to the school that they love like Mosquito Wizard of NC, Professional Restoration Services, SmithSandlin Wealth Planning, and The Original NY Pizza. The IMP Club hosted our sponsors during the September 1 home game for our annual sponsor night. Please consider supporting these local businesses, website links for more information on each are below. For more information on the sponsor categories and how to become a sponsor, visit this LINK. Thank you to all of the following business sponsors! |
