health++, Stanford’s health hackathon, is a two-day weekend event scheduled for October 21 + 22, 2017. Last year, the event brought together 300 engineers, designers, business experts, and clinicians to collaborate on meaningful challenges in the healthcare space. From the initial 50 needs that were presented, 40 projects were submitted, and $7500 in prizes were awarded. All projects are publicly viewable at Devpost. For additional information on last year’s event, check out the coverage by Stanford News and the Scope Medicine blog.
In its second year, health++ will focus again on affordability issues in healthcare, both domestic and global. Secondary areas of focus will be determined and driven by event sponsors which include GO for a second year, Intel, Voler Systems, Stanford, and more.
