Part II: Win More Arguments by Asking

Did we leave you hanging with the January issue? Here's the conclusion to using The Asking Formula to avoid (or win) an argument.

TO RECAP PART I:
  • Arguments differ from “asking situations” only by the degree to which emotions such as anger, resentment, and frustration are present.
  • A requirement for both asking and arguing is to master the ability to listen, as well as demonstrate you are listening.
  • Restating isn't agreeing; it only reflects that you've heard the other's position.

What's missing?

Watch how to use The Asking Formula to avoid an argument and
center yourself back on a productive path.
