Will Fargo be the first US city to enact approval voting?

After months of voter outreach and hard lessons in campaign strategy, only a few days remain before we find out whether Fargo voters will support the approval voting initiative. Our recent poll found that residents who know what approval voting is tend to support it 2:1, reinforcing the fact that this election will be determined by voter education and awareness.

You can help us educate more Fargo voters. Volunteer with Reform Fargo to help their phone banking efforts. Every call could be the one that makes history!

Approval Voting gets a platform at Politicon and EA Global

CES was all over the map in October, from DC to LA to London. We had so much fun sharing the benefits of approval voting at Politicon. A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped us staff the booth! Read more about Politicon on our blog.
Even more exciting than explaining approval voting to Clay Aiken was CES executive director Aaron Hamlin getting a platform to speak at EA Global, the Effective Altruism community's annual conference, in London.

Aaron's talk was, "The Plurality Pandemic: Eradicating a Worldwide Electoral Disease." Better voting methods are a strong target for effective altruists, given their simple implementation and potential for widespread, positive impact.
