International Symposium on Mosaic Art
An international event in the field of cultural tourism, artistic, expert and scientific research in the field of mosaic art
“Mosaic City”, Porec, Istria, Croatia 15-30 / 04 / 2013

By bringing together all relevant international and local artists in this field for a professional, scientific, cultural and artistic event every year, we wish to provide the prerequisites and technical conditions for the creation of new and valuable cultural and artistic works, which would make the city of Porec; well-known and featured on the international tourist map as an artistic site unique for its valuable collection of ancient and modern mosaic works.

Through international networking and activism, art and culture, each year in Porec; we intend to endorse a dozen new artists, who we will welcome, accommodate and give the opportunity to work and create works of art that will forever adorn the streets and squares of the city.
Large-scale mosaics, mosaic sculptures and miniatures, will cover new parts of the city, its corners and nooks. They will cover up and tone down the discrepancies between the old and the new, they will make the lives of the citizens and their guests colorful and joyful.

At the end of each symposium, we will send out into the world new ambassadors of art, who will tell stories about a small coastal town and new artistic inspiration - “Mosaic City”.
