The recent Bill Request 48 was prefiled. This bill seeks to create a new section of KRS 311.530 to 311.620 to make non-compete provisions in physician and osteopath employment contracts void and unenforceable, except in limited circumstances when the contract is for the sale of a practice or for employment as a faculty member at a medical school.  KPCA is conducting a quick survey of its membership to better understand which one of our members includes non-compete clauses in their physician contracts.
