New fall and winter Instructional Programs and Technology

This fall and winter I have added a few different ways to improve your game through different forms of technology and group practice sessions.  I teach year round at Skokie C.C. and fairly late in the evening once the cooler months arrive, so contact me to discuss times that might work for you or if you want more information about the adult instructional programs.  Hope everyone has a great fall and see you on the lesson tee and in the indoor facility.

Men's Group Practices was started earlier this year and have been a great option for players that are looking to improve their game on a consistent basis.  These sessions gives the player the appropriate time to develop the correct techniques through technology, proper repetition, and question and answer sessions.  These are low pressure sessions and typically have a maximum of 5 players per group.  There are two groups, mid-handicap group 10-25 and lower handicap group 0-9.  Click the following link to see more details.

2014 Skokie CC Player Index Recap

This time of year I run a handicap report from December until now to see how my students have preformed over the year.  An observation that I had this year was out of the 314 male players registered in the Skokie CDGA system there were 172 players that had an handicap index that increased and the other 142 players reduced their index.  That means 55% of the players at Skokie this season have a higher index than they did at the beginning of the year.

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result."

This is why I am constantly adding technology and improving my teaching methods to help fight the uphill battle of inflating handicap indexes.  Let's get started early this fall and winter to improve your game for the 2015 season.

Sam PuttLab

This season I brought another great piece of technology to Skokie CC.  Sam PuttLab and is the most accurate putting measurement device and software software on the market.  Read more about Sam PuttLab and more technology that is used during the indoor months that I use to enhance your learning process.
