Its a Wrap!

Post Fantasia Fair 2018 Edition

What a Week!

What a Fair! We are now post-Fantasia Fair 2018. It was our 44th consecutive year, and we all ate too much, slept too little, and had a too good a time. Thank you for registering, thank you for coming, and thank you for your support. If this was your first Fair, congratulations! A special thank you to everyone who helped to make this Fair the very best ever, including the volunteers, presenters, performers, and our hosts around town.  We hope you had a great time and are making plans to join us next year.  Our annual post-Fair survey will be released soon. We want to know what we did right, what we did wrong, and how you think we can improve things for Fantasia fair 2019!

Was 2018 your First Fantasia Fair?
Send Us a Recap of Your Experience!

Fantasia Fair can be and often is a transformative experience for first-time attendees. If you were a first-timer at the Fair in 2018, we’d love to hear from you. Tell us about your experience and how it affected you. Please let us know if it’s okay to use your story for purposes of publicity. We will, of course, disguise your name if you wish. Send to dee@fantasiafair.org.

Dates Announced for

October 20th - October 27th, 2019
Provincetown, Massachusetts

As you might know, Fantasia Fair is the week after Women’s Week, which has always taken place the week of Columbus Day. This causes the first day of the Fair to fluctuate, beginning as early as October 14th and as late as October 20th. Fantasia Fair 2018 was as early as the Fair ever gets, and 2019 will be as late as it ever gets. Expect the weather to be a little cooler in 2019, and expect more people at the end of the week to celebrate Halloween, which is a huge event in Provincetown. You might even consider staying over a few days to witness the first-class Ptown Halloween costumes and revelry. Click here to Register for 2019! (http://fanfair.info/registration/)

Photos Coming Soon!

Fair photographer Dan McKeon was ever present at our events this year, taking snapshots and making videos. He has been busy editing and cropping his shots, and they will soon be available for you to download. As always, we respect the privacy of Fairgoers; those of you who set restrictions on their photos will be able to retrieve your photos securely. No one else will be able to see or download them. Also, as always, if you participated in public events like the Fashion Show or Follies, we remind you we have no control over photos taken by those in attendance.

Dee LaValle appointed
Fair Director for 2019

If you have a good time at Fantasia Fair 2018, Dee is largely responsible. She did a stellar job in 2018 as program director, designer of the Participant’s Guide, and member of the planning committee. She is energetic, creative, and always positive, and Fantasia Fair is proud to announce she will be Fair Director for 2019.

Help Wanted!!!

Fantasia Fair has a lot of moving parts, and no single person can produce a Fair. It takes a village. Dee will need plenty of help for 2019. Please consider volunteering for a job, large, medium, or small. Dee and Dallas Denny are at work on a list of committee and volunteer jobs, which we will be posting soon on the Fair website. We’ll alert you when they go live. Job expectations and time requirements will be clearly defined, so please take a look at the jobs when they go up. We need your assistance! If Fantasia Fair is to continue, it’s essential.

It is YOUR Fair!
