From the desk of Fair Director, Dee LaValle.
I’m sure many of you are curious. Will there be a Fantasia Fair this year? The answer is positively YES! Conditions could change but the hard work crafting Fantasia Fair #47 is underway. Registration is open! We are holding the early bird rate until June 30th. Opening day is just six months away! For many of us, this year’s Fair will be the first time we have gathered in celebration since 2019. Our return to Provincetown this October will rekindle some of that brand-new charm that the first Fantasia Fair did in 1975. We’ll be welcoming new Fairgoers and several familiar Provincetown destinations will either have a new name or operating under new ownership or both. New experiences are being planned along with your favorite nightly events, including a new Grand Reunion Banquet & Dance on opening night and a newly installed elevator that will whisk you from the center of town up to the Pilgrim Monument. Not to mention the workshops, the couples/SO program, and the daily keynotes from compelling medical and community leaders. The organizers are diligently at work planning for an epic week of celebration, discovery, fun, and lots of laughter. Fantasia Fair 2021 will be like none other. Join us this October!

The fair needs you!
The planning for our epic return to Provincetown is underway and the Planning Committee is in need of your creativity, insight, and assistance. Getting involved with the committee is fun, rewarding and will not take up too much of your time. Much of the Committee’s work is done via monthly conference call and email, so you don’t need to live near Provincetown. If you are looking for way to get involved, please reach out today to:

A special note from a new friend.
I am REALLY looking forward to Fantasia Fair 2021!
I’ve been a longtime attendee of First Event and more recently Keystone but I hadn’t ventured to Provincetown until 2019. I had hemmed and hawed about going for years. Even attended an information session at First Event 2018, did some research on lodging and then chickened out!
Wow, did I mess up not attending earlier! I’m still closeted. I rarely get out as my self aside from conferences. I loved the freedom of walking the streets of PTown without a care. Being me for days on end. Meeting new gals. Oh gosh. The other conferences are great in their own way, but walking Commercial Street from a session at the Boatslip to lunch at the Pilgrim House is just so freeing. The social opportunities ranging from a casual coffee to the more formal banquet offered endless opportunities to share experiences and be absorbed in the moment. The information sessions were plentiful and varied. The evenings were filled with fun and entertaining activities. The fashion show, follies and open mic night were a delight. The shops and restaurants welcoming.
Do I sound like I missed it in 2020? Absolutely. I am so looking to return in 2021. I’ve already registered and booked my lodging. 😊 And I hope to see you there!
