We found out this week our “Jane of all trades” Karen Jandro will be unable to attend, and our long-time volunteer wrangler Emily Sheldon won’t be able to make it to Provincetown as well. All of us will miss their smiles and energy at this month’s Fair. Both were looking forward to coordinating the Fantasia Fair’s various volunteer jobs. These jobs (and Karen and Emily) are important, as they make the event fun and a success for all.
Due to Karen and Emily’s absence, the Fair needs your help.
We need volunteers to collect tickets at lunch and help us to get newsletters and such to and from our four lunch locations. We need greeters at the Fair office and ticket takers and tip counters at our evening events. We need someone willing to take daily deposits to the TD Bank on Shankpainter Road and someone willing to pick up VIPs at the Airport. We need one or two people to help us tear down the Fair office on the final Sunday.
These are just a few of the many jobs that make Fantasia Fair what it is.
If you have not yet registered, and if you are willing to undertake tasks on behalf of the Fair, please email Dee at by clicking the button below.
If you made it known to us through the registration system that you wish to volunteer, we will be sending you email requesting your help in collecting tickets at one of the lunches you signed up for and serving as backup at a second lunch. Please confirm when you have received.
Please help out this year if you can!
Thanks so much! Hope to see you in Provincetown in a couple of weeks.
The Fantasia Fair House Band would LOVE to have you join them. Bring your instrument and play during Follies. It doesn't matter what you play or how well you play it. Come and be part of a wonderful evening!
