Happy New Year!
We are excited to announce that our annual charity bike ride the halow250 has now sold out! Still want to join the fun? Become part of the team, we are looking for volunteers to join and assist us with this fantastic event. Get in touch for more details.
If cycling isn't for you, how about running? Join the halow marathon team and take on the 26.2 mile course in Brighton from 15th to 17th of April 2016. Reach our minimum fundraising target and you could run for free! Contact the team for more information.
Give as you Live is introducing Give a Gift, a new way to support halow! Did you receive an unwanted gift card at Christmas? Donate a percentage of your unused gift card to charity and swap the rest for a new gift of your choice. Read more
The Building Futures Group have made a great start to the new term. They have got stuck into making healthy pizzas, volunteering with the Growth Team and Gosden House School. They have also visited Guildford Museum so their schedule is jam-packed. Find out more about BFG
Social Activities got off to a fantastic start in the first week of the year! Young people have been to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens, shared ideas for future trips at the Youth Committee and will be off to a local football match next week.

My halow story
"I like volunteering for halow because it is a small charity where every volunteer really can make a difference. There are always lots of activities and events to get involved in and the young people are wonderful to work with."
Become a volunteer for us! As a halow volunteer you can get involved in the day, evenings or weekends depending on your schedule. Our Social Activities team are always looking for new volunteers. Contact us now to start your halow volunteer journey.

Get involved with love halow this February!
Love halow is back this February! Join us in a celebration of the charity, young people and the services we provide, throughout the month. You can show your love for halow in a variety of ways. Like us on Facebook or tweet us on Twitter (using the hashtag #lovehalow). Just tell us a reason why you love halow. You can also help to sell a box of lapel pins in your business, office, school or pub. We are also looking for regular givers to support our work. As little as £3 a month would make a huge difference to the charity. Click here to get involved with the campaign
We Are Recruiting!
Applications are open for Buddies! Join the halow care team as a Flexible Hour Buddy. You will be required to work part-time and flexible hours, designed to fit around your lifestyle. We are also recruiting for the position of a Full-Time Supported Living Buddy, to provide personalised support to young people within their own home. If you are interested please click here to read more information and apply.
Well done to the young people of Crafty Creations who worked as a team to make their own pottery this month! Excellent work everyone.
Thank you to the pupils of Brambletye School who performed wonderfully at their Christmas concerts in support of halow.
Good luck and congratulations to the recent graduates of Peer to Peer! At the end of 2015 Peer Mentors past and present got together for a Christmas lunch. Peer to Peer is aimed at young people who have experienced some of halow's services and wish to join a mentoring scheme to learn to support their peers.
