A NOTE OF THANKS

In the name of God Most Merciful, Most Mercy Giving

This Thanksgiving, As I write this letter to give thanks to our Creator and to all of you our partners, volunteers, donors and well wishers, the impact of the global coronavirus pandemic is negatively impacting the communities we serve. We know that the days ahead will be challenging, but we also know that we have overcome difficult times in the past. The lessons we learned and the principles that guided us will serve us well as we move forward.

First and foremost, we are a family clinic, and the safety and well-being of our employees, volunteers, providers and patients is our highest priority. We also are doing what we have always done stepping up and contributing in times of need.. Today, we are working together, serving our patients in the pandemic, to make a real difference in the lives for people in need.

As we work to build a stronger viable clinic this year, we are closely watching our costs and services, and working urgently to become more financially fit, agile and resilient so we can continue our humanitarian efforts to keep our communities healthy. There are many opportunities to improve our operational execution and drive growth, much of which we have already been working to address.

The purpose of our clinic has always been to make people’s lives better. That mission inspires us in good times and strengthens our resolve in bad times. We have endured because of the higher sense of purpose and because of the talent, dedication and determination of our extended family of volunteers and employees. It is a big part of what makes us a unique clinic.

Due to our collective efforts, Our clinic has positively affected the lives of over seven thousand people in the greater Orlando community this year.

The success of our campaign required generosity, enthusiasm and commitment to those less fortunate, and we appreciate your support. On behalf of the American Muslim Community Clinic and the thousands of people touched by your efforts, thank you for choosing to help change lives and keep our community healthy and vibrant.

I appreciate and thank every one of you. We have much to be Thankful for

Happy Thanksgiving

Sincerely,

Atif Fareed
Executive Director
