GCSC Spin B Crew Call

Week 2 of 30

Naples Spin B Training Camp

Good mix for our First Spin Run of season with Martin, Dr. H, Kris, Tom, Steve and Vic.   We've named this lonely dolphin 'Torn' who came to visit us when the spin was flying ... dolphin seem to like bright color spins.

Rosie, our star port trimmer, also sent a photo from Alaska where she is training her son to get used to wearing red. [ Looks like they will be sailing again with us sometime this winter; both sailed on Vee Jay last year.]

Vee Jay will try to sail a couple of spinnaker runs every weekend for the next 29 weeks or so. [ depending on weather conditions and crew ] ... Some optional mid week sailing may also be available.

I will try to send out this crew call every week or so ... if you are available this coming weekend or in the near future, our spin program runs about 4 hours leaving from Naples City Dock. Get in touch with us to work into our upcoming schedule!!!  We will decide whether to participate in regattas depending on how many crewpeople are available a couple weeks before the regatta!!!

There are 4 regattas coming up. Depending on crew available, Vee Jay will try to participate.

11/16-17 MIYC Fall Avow Regatta Marco Island
