Board Update
By Linda Haller, STPC President

Our summer picnic is scheduled on Thursday, August 18, 6-8:30pm at Donaldson Park in Richfield. Please bring your tennis racquet, a chair, and a dish to share. Courts and balls, as well as beverages, will be provided.  Play tennis with familiar and new faces, and meet new friends.  Last year's picnic was a lot of fun. Hope to see you all there this year!

Mark your calendars for our annual gala luncheon meeting that will be held on Thursday, September 22 at the Town and Country Club. More details coming soon. (Note: this date has been revised from last month's E-Update.)

The summer drill schedule and summer group play schedules are up on our website. Please click
here for the drill schedule and here for the group play schedule. If you are a drill participant, check with your Instructor, as the drill season may be extended until the indoor season begins.  The drills have been extremely well attended to date. Summer is a great time to get outside to play so get out and have some fun.

All of the STPC members that play at Donaldson want to give a shout out to Willie Prawdzik for his years of service proactively looking after the Donaldson courts.

We have been getting more requests lately from our members regarding our printed rosters. Now that our web issues have been resolved, we are planning to get the roster out by September. If you haven't renewed your membership yet, your name will not appear on the roster. Please renew today if your membership is due so we can include everyone. We are excited that our website is once again able to process all major credit cards.

Our next newsletter will be out in August. You can find all of our newsletters on our website by clicking here. Also, check out our website calendar as it is is now up-to-date.

Our board meetings have now been changed to the first Thursday of the month. The next meeting we be held  9:30-noon in the conference room at Inner City Tennis. You are all welcome to attend!

Happy hitting!
