By Linda Haller, STPC President
After almost 4 years serving on the board, my term is finally up. It has been a great privilege for me to serve as president of the board for the last 2 years and, as of April 1st, I will turn the reins over to Jon Homgren. Join me in congratulating Jon in his new role as President. A great thank you to those board members who are also leaving the board (Pam Campbell, Bruce Leng and Denis Woulfe) and to those that are staying, for all your hard work over the past few years. It's a joy to have been able to serve with other like-minded board members who share the same love of tennis and interest in forwarding the STPC mission. All of our vacant board positions are now filled and I look forward to seeing how the new board members' new perspectives may reshape the board. A warm welcome to our new board members, Bonnie Bolton, Dennis Hykes, Marilyn Kelley, and Mike Woolsey.
Our entire board will be involved in a Long Range Planning initiative spearheaded by Jim Handy. We would love your input on where you would like to see the club headed in the next few years. Please e-mail Jim Handy with your ideas at email@example.com.
