ADVENTURE FEST

Thanks to Those Who Joined Us!

Over the weekend, we celebrated the first-ever Bicycle Times Adventure Fest, presented by Trek Bikes, on the shores of Raystown Lake in Central Pennsylvania. We were welcomed by more than 400 readers and new friends for blue skies, warm temperatures and endless fall colors through the hills of the Allegheny Mountains. Check out what you missed and plan on attending next year!

JOB OPENING

Bicycle Times Seeks Art Director

The art director of our sister mag, Dirt Rag, is moving on after seven years and will be replaced by Bicycle Times Art Director, Stephen Haynes. That means we are hiring! If you love bicycles and design, apply by October 19.

FIELD TESTED

Leather Saddle Roundup

Our resident mileage munchers have been riding various leather saddles for the better part of 2015, on various terrain in various weather conditions. While the basic engineering principles apply to most, the six saddles in our long-term review each take a slightly different approach to supporting your derriere.

FIELD TESTED

Cross/Gravel Bikes from GT and Foundry

All-purpose bicycles are abundant and testing them involves racing, road riding, gravel grinding and even singletrack exploring. At one end of the spectrum is the rough-and-ready GT Grade Alloy. At the other end is the more cyclocross-focused, titanium Foundry Overland. Find out which suits you best.
