Introduction to Biomimicry, Interactive Workshop:  Sunday, Nov 9, 2014, 2:00-4:00pm, Oak Park Conservatory, 615 Garfield St.

Have you ever wondered how we will make the leap from today to our sustainable future? Biomimicry, the practice of learning from nature to solve human problems, is emerging as a powerful tool for creating sustainable design.

Join others interested in developing a sustainable future for our families, neighborhood, communities and world at this interactive workshop which will be led by Rachel Hahs, a Certified Biomimicry Professional Candidate with a decade of public and private sector environmental and sustainability experience.

Through an introductory presentation, hands-on activity and group discussion, you will gain an understanding of how to begin to apply the biomimicry methodology to the challenges we face in our homes, places of work and communities..

This workshop is a cooperative offering from the Oak Park Conservatory, Green Community Connections and Biomimicry Chicago.  Click below to register at EventBrite online or you can in person at the Oak Park Conservatory, 615 Garfield St, Oak Park.
