Crieff's Empty Buildings
The Empty Buildings Options Appraisal is being finalised by consultants Community Enterprise Ltd. Once complete, the report will be available on the CCT website www.crieffcommunitytrust.org.uk. Any other groups looking to regenerate an empty building in Crieff will be able to use it to demonstrate community need for their project. After extensive community consultation and research, the document recommends three routes for CCT to pursue:
• Affordable housing
• Affordable accommodation for visitors
• Co-working space

Part of the work was to have the Drummond Arms valued. CCT commissioned a building valuation on 7th February by J & E Shepherd. The building was valued at £50,000. With this knowledge Community Enterprise is working on a business case for the Drummond Arms for affordable housing and accommodation.

Co-working in Crieff
CCT is continuing its work to create a co-working space in Crieff. Last year CCT was looking at the Old Refectory as it seemed the only option at the time, however, since then, Perth College’s Learning Centre has left the Lodge Street Annex below Strathearn Artspace. This venue lends itself very well to a co-working space. CCT has expressed its interest in the premises to Strathearn Artspace and hopes to create a co-working space in it this year. CCT will be contacting people who expressed an interest in the coming days. Interested in co-working in Crieff? Please email us at crieffcommunitytrust@gmail.com

Crieff Paths Group
Our group of volunteers meet on the last Saturday of the month to repair local paths. If you would like to help out please email alexmcleodnairn@hotmail.com.

Turretbank Wood
A draft management plan for the area is being reviewed. Funders are being considered for the work to link the path through Turretbank Wood to the rest of Lady Mary’s Walk.

Community Street Audit
CCT assisted in two Community Street audits of Crieff’s pedestrian journeys to all the schools in Broich Road and along the High Street at the end of February.

Quiz Night Success!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support CCT on Friday, 24th February for our first ever Quiz Night. It was a very fun night and everyone had a good time. So good we plan to repeat it again next year! The event raised £965 to help CCT’s efforts to bring about improvements in the physical, economic and social environment of Crieff.

Don't be afraid to go out on a limb. That's where the fruit is.
