The Ontario New Democratic Youth Convention 2014 will take place on September 20th & 21st at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus!

Youth Delegate: $10 ($5 per day)
Observer: $50

Travel
Travel subsidies will be available for up to $50/youth travelling greater than 100km (one way) upon submission of receipts to ondy@on.ndp.ca

Policy Resolutions Due This Friday
Any and all policy resolutions should be sent to ondy@on.ndp.ca for compilation in the ONDY2014 policy proposal book. Please do so by Friday, September 12, 2014. Late submissions will not be accepted. Policies must be sponsored by an affiliated ONDY club, or by 5 individual ONDY members in good standing.

Youth Canvass for Olivia Chow
Following the adjournment of ONDYcon 2014, stick around to take part in an afternoon canvass for the Olivia Chow Campaign! Gain foot canvassing experience and learn about the issues facing Scarborough residents at a municipal level while supporting the mayoral campaign of the former NDP MP.


Ontario NDP Convention Delegate Deadline September 30
The Ontario NDP's 2014 Convention will be held November 14-16 in Toronto! Each recognized youth club is entitled to delegates on the same basis as each constituency association. Please read this information guide as soon as possible to ensure that your club submits all delegate names to the convention organizers by the September 30th deadline. If you have questions about how many delegates your club is entitled to, please email ahagstrom@on.ndp.ca

Nominations are now open for the Totally Jack Award, to be presented at ONDYcon 2014 on Saturday, September 20th.

Email your nomination to ondy@on.ndp.ca on or before September 12th. Include your name, age, contact information and ONDY club or riding. Also include the name, age, contact information for the person you are nominating, as well as a description of all the reasons that they are a youth committed to community engagement, social justice and progressive political ideals. Nominees must be residents of Ontario and must be under 26 years of age.
