2016, improving our impact through courseware development:
Whereas before we were relying on existing educational software, in January the Nestpring team completed the first batch of homemade ready to use IT courseware (including tutorials for teachers and presentation slides for students). They cover word processor, database, slide presentation and drawing software. This will help provide better support to the IT teachers, as IT class is still not a mandatory school subject yet. It will also enable Netspring to better assess the computer literacy level of the students and their progression. A set of test will be developed together with the courseware in order to produce reliable metrics in which to measure student progress.
Presentation at CEIBS Jan.21st
Netspring is proud of having presented together with MSC consulting on the first sustainable business session organized by CEIBS. These sessions are held after classes and aim to make students more familiar with the NGO and Social Enterprise business models. Despite the cold weather, numerous students gathered in the room for the session. At the end of the presentation they came up with several business oriented questions such “What is your development plan for the next few years?” as well as some useful suggestions.
