SPEECHES:  Mark presented to the Madison County Bar Association on the topics of case management and the ethics of “the cloud.”  The presentation was well received according to Madison County Bar President, Matthew Thompson.

Mark will participate in the Mississippi Bar’s Professionalism Program directed at entering law students at Mississippi College.  Mark will be one of a select group of Judges and lawyers who will meet personally with new admittees for two hours to discuss issues pertaining to ethics, professionalism and honor of the profession of law.

SOCCER: On a personal note, Mark will depart with his 14-year-old daughter Conley for Memphis on August 9 for a two-day tournament pitting Varsity soccer teams from several states in a pre-season practice tournament.

ABOUT THE TEAM: Mark’s daughter, Casey, starts medical school this month and the family will participate in a “white coat ceremony” on August 8, 2013 for the school.  Daughter Carly will be heading to Ole Miss for her Freshman year! (Pictured at right are Mark, Casey, and Carly at the Mississippi Bar Convention in Destin, FL.)

LABOR DAY: The office will closed on Monday, September 2, for Labor Day.

RECEPTION: As we say every month, our firm believes in what we call “Ritz Carlton Service.” We have invested in a telephone system which allows access to all of our team members and allows for voice mail messages. Judy only works mornings. If you call and wish to speak to a particular person and they are unavailable, you may either leave a voice mail or ask to speak with someone else. Listed below are our extension numbers. We also want our clients to be able to contact us after hours about emergency matters, so our cell phone numbers are also listed below.
