BOOSTER DOSE FOR COVID-19 VACCINE
A quick email to advise of the patient population who are presently able to seek their 3rd dose of Covid-19 vaccine booster.
****Please note HC365 will not be administering the Covid-19 vaccine in the clinic****
Appointments for booster shots should take place at least six months following a person's second dose. According to Ontario's chief medical officer of health, that's when immunity starts to wane.
Individuals presently advised to receive a Covid-19 vaccine booster:
Highest Risk Population: (80yr+, or those with significant medical conditions). This population group has been individually contacted by our clinic.
People aged 70 and older.
Health-care workers or essential caregivers in congregate settings.
People who received two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine or one dose of Janssen vaccine.
First Nations, Inuit and Metis adults and their non-Indigenous household member.
