Change Charleston in 2016!

Take an active part in the CAJM Nehemiah Action

We're looking for people to attend and caucus with us at this rally on the evening of Monday, April 18!

One of the year's most powerful and well attended events, the Charleston Area Justice Ministry (CAJM) asks Charleston's political leaders to support policy proposals based on each year's most pressing social issue, which for 2016 is racial discrimination. Ideally, these political leaders will support these policy changes on the stage at the assembly.

(CAJM represents about two dozen Charleston-area congregations and is a partner of the YWCA of Greater Charleston.)
  • WHEN: 7 p.m. on Monday, April 18
  • WHERE: Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 7396 Rivers Ave.
  • RSVP: Please email Adrienne Troy-Frazier or call her at 722.1644

STAND AGAINST RACISM

Beginning April 28, please join us for the YWCA of Greater Charleston's 10th Annual Stand Against Racism Week! Nationwide, the Stand Against Racism attracts 300,000 people each April who come together to help eliminate racism in America.

Lowcountry Giving Day

We're participating on May 3rd

Your donation will help eliminate racism and empower women where YOU live: the Charleston, SC area. Every dollar helps!
