Half term childcare

FIS banner

Don’t forget if you can’t get all or part of half term off work and you don’t have family and friends to help out, the Family Information Service can help you find high quality OfSTED registered childcare.  We can provide you with a personalised list of out of school clubs and childminders offering holiday childcare in your area.

Using an OfSTED registered childcare provider you can be sure your child/ren will be safe with well trained and experienced out of school club staff or childminders.  Not only that, they will have a full programme of activities and visits planned for the half term holiday to ensure children are never bored and will still learn new things even though they are having fun.

If you are concerned about the cost of using formal childcare we can also advise on the different schemes available to help parents with meeting childcare costs, so call us on 01724 296629 or email fis@northlincs.gov.uk

We have also published information on many registered childcare providers on the North Lincs Local Offer website and if your child has a special need or disability you can also read their statement on how they work to meet children’s individual needs.

Our brokerage service is also available to all parents and carers if you are struggling to find suitable childcare  from the information on the website or the list we have sent you by email or in the post.  Just call or email us and let us know you need further assistance.

A range of activities are provided as well as ideas of creative things to do at home.  No need to book just pop along and meet other families.
