2. Public hearing at European Parliament

On the liberalized European electricity market, consumers are free to choose their supplier. On top of that, consumers now also get the freedom to choose between several electricity products. What tools have been developed to guarantee this product choice? Who is benefitting from that freedom? And what are the challenges?
All these question will be discussed on the EKOenergy Public Hearing at the European Parliament. The seminar is hosted by:
* Sirpa Pietikäinen, MEP, vice-chair of the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection and
* Kathleen Van Brempt, MEP, Committee on Industry, Research and Energy
January 23, 13.00-15.00, Registration required.
