WORLD PREMIERES FOR GRAND STREET AND I AM HAPPINESS ON EARTH

Our films Grand Street, directed by Lex Sidón and I Am Happiness on Earth, directed by Julián Hernández are about to finally have their world premiere.
Grand Street will be part of the 15th JeonJu International Film Festival, taking place from May 1st to 10th, as part of the Festival's Cinemafest Section. Screening dates are scheduled on May 2nd and 5th, at 10:30pm (Jeonju Cinematown 2).
GRAND STREET
A debut to the long feature film and starring, among others, Charlotte RILEY, Tom BYAM SHAW, Michael WINCOTT, Mia MAESTRO and Kelly McGILLIS, Grand Street is set in Manhattan, where the slice of New York lives spread out. The 24 hours in the city and the selfish love, work of the people in it create a drama. The romance of Camilla and Amos itself represents the dry urban life.

Lex SIDÓN
Former corporate banker in NY. Always a writer, collaborating on several screenplays, he moved to LA and directed music videos. Returning to NY, he made the short film The Best Man(2010) in 2010. As a work-in-progress, Grand Street (2014) was one of 6 films chosen for “U.S. In Progress”.

I Am Happiness on Earth, the 4th long feature film of 2 times Teddy Award winner, Mexican Julián Hernández will have its debut in Turin, at 29th Turin Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, taking place from April 30th to May 6th.

The film will be part of the Feature Film Competition Festival's section. Screening dates are scheduled on May 4th at 10:30pm and 5th, at 4:00pm (Multisala Cinema Massimo).

I Am Happiness on Earth was already pre-acquired by distributors Pro-Fun Media, Breaking Glass and Peccadillo Pictures.
I AM HAPPINESS ON EARTH
Emiliano looks at his life with the eyes of a film director, mixing the objective reality with the processes of the artistic creation. The story he is filming flounders with his daily life, until his world is trapped in the lens of his camera.

JULIAN HERNANDEZ
Julián Hernández is born in Mexico City in 1972 and he graduated in film from the state University UNAM. Among his previous works are the feature films Broken Sky (2006), A Thousand Clouds of Peace Fence the Sky, Love, Your Being Love Will Never End (2003), winner of the Teddy Award at Berlin Film Festival and Raging Sun, Raging Sky, winner of the same Award but in 2009.
Hernández has also directed, among others, the short films Por encima del abismo de la desesperación (1996), Hubo un tiempo en que los sueños dieron paso a largas noches de insomnio (1997), Bramadero (2007), Vago rumor de mares en zozobra (2008), Atmosphere (2009) and Wandering Clouds (2013).
