Due to the success of a 6 week women’s craft group we have decided to continue offering craft sessions for women on a fortnightly basis (Wednesday afternoons). Activities range from felt making, watercolour painting, mosaics, to willow weaving, candle making and making handcream and lip balms. Please contact Helen for more information and bookings.
Our annual Branching Out programme kicks off on the 12th May. This is a 12 week therapeutic programme based in forests and orchard and this year the activity programme looks fantastic! For more information about referrals please contact Helen or Catherine.
This month CCI returned to the very first garden that we ever made in 2002 – the bowling green garden in Lanark. It is a lovely little garden near the entrance to Castlebank Park. It was fantastic to be invited back to make some small improvements to it 14 years on!

Staff from Cemex Concrete Division in both West Calder and Lanark Block Plants came along to Lend a Hand for a day and managed to do an incredible amount of work alongside our staff, volunteers and participants. The sun came out to play too and everyone who took part had an amazing day. Huge thanks to all who took part and the good news is they have asked to come back again next year!

Next job club drop in sessions will on Wednesday 27th April: 1-3pm in the training room in the barn.
All are welcome to have a chat about volunteering, further training and employment options.
All kinds of help is available from preparing your CV, interview practice, how to search for jobs, volunteering and training opportunities.

Spring has sprung and April is upon us!
With the completion of projects at James Gillespie Primary, Froglife and Beckford Lodge, we have been extremely busy as always.
All three sites are looking fantastic and the feedback has been amazing! So a huge big thank you to everyone involved for all their hardwork and dedication. We are now moving onto projects at Cleland Hospital and Udston Hospital before the month ends. We are also in the process of securing more work into May with the additional work required at Mossheights Cardonald. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us this time.

Completed works at James Gillespie Primary School.
