“Spellbinding; passionate, humorous and open – the sound of a singer who could take on the world.”– On-Magazine.

With their full band The Bluetones taking a 2022 hiatus from live performances, singer Mark Morriss and his Bluetones partner in crime, Adam Devlin, are taking their ‘Bluetones Acoustic’ set out on the road later this year for a Winter run of dates. A 90 minute run through of Bluetones classics such as ‘Slight Return’, the tour will be the one and only chance for fans to let their hair down to the Bluetones back catalogue live this year, and will no doubt be a popular ticket. A prolific live performer, Mark is also available for solo bookings as well.

“Ford writes with genuine depth and striking authority.” Rolling Stone

David Ford and Annie Dressner began their musical alliance in early 2022. But listening to the blend of their voices and their timeless songwriting, you’d be forgiven for thinking they had been making music together forever. In truth Annie and David became friends in January, while playing on the same bill at a couple of gigs in the freezing North of England. Initially sitting in for a song or two in each other’s set, these brief moments of collaboration became a highlight of the show. Two weeks later, they had written and recorded their debut release, naming it 48 hours in honour of the two-day burst of creativity during which most of the material was written.

“Really fabulous stuff” - Mark Radcliffe, BBC Radio 2

Having already recorded and produced over 10 acclaimed records, had multiple live sessions and airplay on BBC Radio 2 and 3, and his music regularly featured on Sky Arts and Sky Sports, it’s hard to believe that young Bristol-based folk singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Sam Kelly has only been performing live for a few years. With folk luminaries such as Kate Rusby, Seth Lakeman, and Cara Dillon waxing lyrical about Sam’s live set, it seemed fitting when he was awarded the prestigious Horizon Award for emerging artists at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2016 at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

From the duo show, expect to hear haunting harmonies, soaring tunes and melodies, charming anecdotes and instrumental performances of the highest calibre, all led by Sam’s unmistakable vocals. This is not a show to be missed.

“Melodically sublime… although Ghedi’s music is infused with tradition, it’s very much experiencing the present” -
MOJO ★★★★☆

Jim Ghedi hails from the South Yorkshire hills and although clearly well versed in the history of British folk music, he stands out as a potential torch bearer for a new generation of respectful yet experimental performers. Whilst Ghedi’s previous idiosyncratic take on folk has often been instrumental, his new album ‘In The Furrows Of Common Place’ is a deeper plunge inside himself to offer up more of his voice to accompany his profoundly unique and moving compositions. Jim has received BBC 2 play from Mark Radcliffe, BBC 6 Music airplay from Gideon Coe, Cerys Matthews and Elizabeth Alker and BBC 3 play from Verity Sharp.

“… builds bridges between love and hate, between cradle and grave, between folk and pop, between past and present.” – NME

Martin Stephenson & The Daintees will be touring their new album later this year with a run of winter dates to showcase it. The Daintees released four critically acclaimed albums between 1986 & 1992; Boat To Bolivia, Gladsome Humour and Blue, Salutation Road, and The Boys Heart, and Martin has since kept himself in the public eye through a combination of extensive live work and a multitude of self-financed solo albums. 2000 saw the reformation of the Daintees, and to this day Martin splits his time between solo and small collaborative projects with band albums and annual celebratory Daintees UK tours.

Martin is also taking bookings for his solo shows, with Rupert Hughes (acoustic guitar) & Niles Kreiger (fiddle and mandolin) as The Good Will Trio, and as a stripped back Daintees show with Gary Dunn (guitar) and Finn McArdle (percussion) as The Daintees Trio.

“…the finest young British female singer-songwriter to emerge over the last 12 months”  UNCUT Magazine

Polly Paulusma follows up her critically-acclaimed 2021 album ‘Invisible Music’ with ‘The Pivot On Which The World Turns’ (Wild Sound/OLI 2022), affectionately shortened to ‘Pivot’. The album marks a return to her singular brand of insightful songs that, in their subject matter, roam around the badlands of love, sex and parenthood, death and grief, failure and success, violence and healing.

’Pivot’ is the fifth studio album — and the ninth release — from this growing indie-folk legend, whose thought-provoking albums since 2004’s ’Scissors In My Pocket’ (OLI 2004) have earned her plaudits from international champions as far flung as Nic Harcourt at KCRW in LA and Michele Manzotti in Italy — as well as homegrown accolades from Mark Radcliffe (BBC Radio 2) and The Guardian.
Polly takes the album on the road from late October into November, and we are booking now.

“Scotland's best-selling female singer in terms of the numbers of hit chart singles and albums she has achieved in the UK since 1976”.  The Scotsman

In this special acoustic performance, Barbara Dickson and her pianist Nick Holland explore her catalogue of songs at an intimate level. The pair let the words and melodies take ‘centre stage’ as they perform a wonderful range of material drawing on Barbara’s folk roots, contemporary greats, and some of her classic hits. In this, she plays guitar and piano, and Nick on keyboards and adds harmonies to Barbara’s own wonderful vocals.

“It’s a different experience to working with the bigger band” says Barbara, “but just as enjoyable and gives the music breathing space”

“A study in virtuosity from a supremely talented group of musicians.” - NARC

Bluegrass band The Often Herd transcend the traditional boundaries of the genre. Although they might resemble an American string band, complete with driving energy, tight vocal harmonies and dazzling instrumental interplay, their vibrant, transatlantic sound is deeply coloured by their surroundings; the striking natural and industrial landscapes of Northern England. This unique approach won them the title of “Best European Bluegrass Band 2018” at the prestigious La Roche Bluegrass Festival in France.
The band were selected to showcase at this years IBMA Bluegrass Ramble and have showcased in the past at AmericanaFest UK. Their debut album 'Where The Big Lamp Shines' is out next month.

"It is easy to compare Terry’s heritage and storytelling to that of Jackson Browne, James Taylor or Bruce Springsteen. A symphonic delight for the heart and soul." - Americana UK 9/10

Whatever magic potion the troubadours in Laurel Canyon were sipping on in 1971, Jesse Terry has managed to track it down and take a deep gulp.
Now on his seventh album, When We Wander, Terry performs his beautifully crafted songs to around 150 audiences a year and (in the words of Music News Nashville)
"bring[s] to mind iconic artist/poets like Paul Simon and Jackson Browne.... [with] a performance that touches the heart like only a whisper can."
