Happy Sunny days!
From Camels to Caravans life is never dull at Vortex HQ.............

Traveling Treasury

Traveling Treasury is a magical story telling experience that takes places in a beautifully transformed caravan.  We literally worked around the clock to bring the Traveling Treasury to life when the first tour date got brought forward!  Our mixture of glue gun, glue spray, an old library catalogue and more than 200 books make you feel that you've stepped inside the pages of a book.  While the story devised by our friends at Highly Sprung will quite literally, unfold before your eyes.

Don't miss your opportunity to catch a show this Saturday 10th August at Malt Kiln Farm Shop in Stretton under Fosse.  Or Saturday 7th September the beauty that is the Traveling Treasury will be at Easenhall Village Fete.

Great for festivals!  Great for schools!  Complete with school pack!  Book it NOW!

Fargo begins........

Vortex were delighted to win the tender for the ground cutting ceremony to launch Fargo, the new creative village in Coventry that happened in July.
Our vision for the event was to create a quirky and fun experience right from the arrival of the guests through to when the guests left.

Costumes and characters were created bespoke to the event working with the Fargo brand.
Twirling costume greeters met guests and led the way into a feature up-lit unit where a buffet luncheon provided by Artisan Restaurant was served and mix-it-up-vibe cocktails from the brand Poison were supped.
DJ Matt Chinn provided background texture to the event, as guests looked at the exciting plans drawn and projected on the walls around the space, while eyeing up their takeaway gift of a Fargo branded cupcake from The Little Cakery.  The main event was the bow cutting ceremony, choreographed with two performers creating a human bow, living decor at its best, Vortex style!
Excited to hear that work has started this week on the development.

Fargo continued........Mr Go Far visits Godiva

Mr Go-Far the eccentric immortal character developed for the ground cutting ceremony again played center stage at Godiva Festival in our Fabulous and bizarre mad hatter type tea party created for Mazing Ltd.
On arrival to The Village site festival goers were directed this way and that by topsy turvey signs, but The Village site was not easily missed.

We started with the Caravan, now for the Camel.

Camilla played a staring role on parade in London earlier this year.  She enjoyed her moment in the sun, and is now residing between hires in a board room  of the fabulous PGS global logistics who provided her carriage for the event.

..............with only 138 days left until Christmas event planning for this festive season has begun!  Let your event sparkle with style with our fabulous star and snowflake costumes.
