May Meeting Information
Our next meeting will be held on May 6, 2015, starting at 6:00 PM at Morgan's American Grill in New Market, MD. FALCAN is still buying your first beer or glass of wine.
We would like to thank Kent Deeben from Sisler’s Stone in Harpers Ferry, WV. He had some interesting new hardscape products to share with the group.
Our speaker for May will be Zack Kline from A.I.R. Lawn Care. He will talk about how he is using battery powered equipment in lawn and landscape care.

Truck and Trailer Safety Seminar
The State Police have committed to working with us again this year. We are close to narrowing down a date in August for the seminar and our hope is to hold the event in Urbana again. Any thoughts on the event in terms of pricing, advertising, etc. would be welcome and we can discuss these thoughts at the meeting on the 6th. Please contact Grove or Danny in the meantime. We hope to hold another successful event this year.

Montgomery County Bill 52-14 Update
Next Grassroots Meeting - May 14, 6-7:30 p.m.
An in-person grassroots meeting is being held is Bethesda North Marriott. We will discuss the bill language status in the committee, grassroots, and amendments.

FALCAN Night at the Frederick Keys - Tickets on sale now!
Join FALCAN on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Mattress Warehouse Café for FALCAN night at the Keys. Ticket prices are $18 per ticket - half of the regular ticket price!
Your ticket includes Food, Beverages and up to 4 Beers, plus the opportunity to watch the game in air conditioning!

CTC Landscape Program - Donations Needed
Diane Herndon from the CTC Landscape Program is seeking donations of old 1, 3, or 5 gallons pots you may not need. Let me know if you have any pots that are just going to be trashed or recycled, her students can put them to use. They may be able to pick them up or if you are in the area of the CTC building at Frederick Community College you may be able to drop off. Contact Diane Herndon at diane.herndon@fcps.org
