Na een aantal weken vakantie, gaan we volgende week vanaf 28 augustus het seizoen 22/23 starten! Wij hebben er weer zin in.
We hopen dat jullie allemaal heerlijke vakantie hebben gehad of nog steeds aan het genieten zijn en dat jullie ook allemaal weer zin hebben om te basketballen.
De laatste hand wordt nog gelegd aan alle voorbereidingen om het nieuwe seizoen fris te beginnen.
De trainingstijden en locaties zijn bijgewerkt bij de teams op de webstie. Mogelijk dat in de in het begin nog verschuivingen gaan plaatsvinden, houd de trainers app en/of website in de gaten.
Bij de afronding van alle voorbereidingen hebben we jullie nog nodig.
Er zijn nog 5 teams zonder trainers en we missen nog steeds een voorzitter. Dus meld je aan als je deze taak wilt oppakken.
Traditioneel hebben we de eerste weken veel informatie te delen.
Via deze mail willen we jullie informeren over belangrijke zaken omtrent de seizoenstart. Lees deze mail dan ook nauwkeurig.

Dear Kimbria Members,
After a few weeks of vacation, we will start the 22/23 season next week from August 28! We are looking forward to it again.
We hope you all had a wonderful holiday or are still enjoying the quiet days and that you all feel like playing basketball again, next week.
The final touches are still being made to all preparations to start the new season fresh. The training times and locations are posted on the teams' website, maybe some changes will take place in the next few weeks. Check the website or the teamapp.
We still need you to complete all the preparations. There are still 5 teams without trainers and we are still missing a chairman. So sign up if you want to take up this task.
Traditionally, we have a lot of information to share in the first few weeks.
Through this email we would like to inform you about important matters regarding the start of the season. Please read this email carefully.

Teamindeling/Team layout
Hieronder nog een keer de teamindelingen en de trainersoverzicht (ook terug te vinden bij de teams op de website). Zoals direct zichtbaar is, missen we nog steeds een 5-tal trainers!!!!!! Kijk naar deze geweldige teams en kies er één uit om al je vaardigheden aan over te dragen, ze een geweldige sportieve tijd te geven en zelf ook de nodige skills bij te leren!
Misschien zijn creatieve oplossing mogelijk door met zijn tweeën trainingen en wedstrijden af te wisselen (waarbij natuurlijk het behoud van continuïteit en het opbouwen van een goede band met het team, belangrijk blijft). Zonder trainer kunnen deze teams niet starten!! We zijn trots op het feit dat er zo veel interesse is om te basketballen maar we kunnen het alleen waarmaken als we ze kunnen laten trainen en wedstrijden kunnen laten spelen. Daarom hebben we jou nodig! Meldje aan bij de technisch commissie of het bestuur, ook voor meer informatie en uitleg.

As can be seen immediately, we are still missing 5 trainers!!!!!!Look at these great teams and choose one to transfer all your skills to, give them a great sporting time and also learn the necessary skills yourself!
Perhaps creative solutions can be found by alternating training and competition between the two of them (while maintaining continuity and building a good relationship with the team, of course, remains important). These teams cannot start without a trainer!! We are proud of the fact that there is so much interest in basketball but we can only make it happen if we can let them train and play games.
That's why we need you! Register with the technical committee or the board, also for more information and explanation.
Trainingstijden: Start 28-08-2022
Vanaf 28 augustus starten de trainingen weer.
Uitzondering zijn de teams waarvoor nog geen trainer beschikbaar is.
Dit betreft de U12-2, de U14-2, de U16-1 en de U18.
Deze 4 teams starten zo snel mogelijk.
Hou voor het precieze startdatum van deze 4 teams de website en Facebook in de gaten.
Van alle teams staat voor 28 augustus de trainingstijden op de website vermeld.
Training times: Start 28-08-2022
Training will resume on August 28th.

Scheidsrechters en Jurytafel
Natuurlijk dienen we ook deze seizoen wederom scheidsrechters en leden stellen voor de jurytafels. Om het nogmaals duidelijk te maken, we dienen verschillende taken te verrichten:
1. Scheidsrechters voor onze (landelijke) senioren teams:
BC Kimbria dient scheidsrechters te stellen bij wedstrijden van andere verenigingen. Dit is de enige manier waarop we met onze (landelijke) senioren teams aan de competitie mogen deelnemen. Ben je in bezit van een scheidsrechter diploma waarmee je als scheidsrechter namens Kimbria bij andere verenigingen mag fluiten en wil je graag een keer deze taak op je nemen, meld je dan bij Christoph.
Voor het fluiten buiten Maastricht ontvang je naast een reiskostenvergoeding ook een vergoeding vanuit BC Kimbria.
2. Scheidsrechters bij wedstrijden van BC Kimbria (U10 tot en met U22):
Voor de thuiswedstrijden van onze jeugdteams dient BC Kimbria, bij iedere wedstrijd, altijd 2 scheidsrechters te stellen. Vanaf het tweede jaar dat men in de U16 speelt, is het dan ook verplicht een scheidsrechtercursus te volgen. Let op: de eerstvolgende scheidsrechtercursus start op 2 september en gaat verder op 3 & 4 september!. De leden die deze dienen te volgen hebben daarvoor een mail ontvangen en worden dan ook op 2 september verwacht. Heb je deze mail niet meer, mail dan de technische commissie: tc@kimbria.nl.
3. Jurytafel: Bij elke thuiswedstrijd van BC Kimbria dient de jurytafel bezet te zijn met 2 tot 3 personen. Bij de teams tot en met de U18 wordt dit op toerbeurt door ouders gedaan, het schema hiervoor wordt door de ouders van de teams zelf gemaakt. Vanaf de U22 wordt deze taak verricht door spelers vanaf de U16 teams. Let op: we proberen begin september nog een jurytafel cursus voor (nieuwe) ouders en de spelers te organiseren. Hou de website and Facebook hiervoor in de gaten.
Let op: we verwachten dat eind deze week het competitieschema door de NBB vastgesteld is. Kort daarna wordt het scheidsrechter en jurytafel schema vastgesteld en worden de spelers hierover geïnformeerd per mail. Hou je mail dan ook goed in de gaten.
Referees and Jury Table
Of course, this season we will again have to appoint referees and members for the jury tables. To make it clear again, we need to perform several tasks:
1. Referees for our (national) senior teams: BC Kimbria must appoint referees for matches of other associations. This is the only way in which we can participate in the competition with our (national) senior teams. Are you in possession of a referee diploma that allows you to whistle on behalf of Kimbria at other associations and would you like to take on this task once, please report to Christoph. In addition to a travel allowance, you will also receive a reimbursement from BC Kimbria for whistling outside Maastricht.
2. Referees in BC Kimbria matches (U10 to U22): For the home games of our youth teams, BC Kimbria must always appoint 2 referees of every game. From the second year that one plays in the U16, it is therefore mandatory to follow a referee course. Please note: the next referee course starts on September 2 and continues on September 3 & 4!. The members who need to follow this have received an email and are expected on September 2nd. If you no longer have this email, please email the technical committee: tc@kimbria.nl.
3. Jury table: At every home game of BC Kimbria, the jury table must be occupied by 2 to 3 people. For the teams up to and including the U18, this is done in turn by parents, the schedule for this is made by the parents of the teams themselves. From the U22, this task is performed by players from the U16 teams. Please note: we will try to organize a jury table course for (new) parents and the players at the beginning of September. Keep an eye on the website and Facebook for this.
Please note: we expect the competition schedule to be determined by the NBB at the end of this week. Shortly afterwards, the referee and scorer table schedule will be determined and the players will be informed about this by email. So keep a close eye on your email.
Spelregelbewijs >14 en <25 jaar verplicht 22/23
Vanaf seizoen 2022/2023 moeten alle wedstrijd spelende leden in het bezit zijn van een spelregelbewijs.
Om een positiever en veiliger sportklimaat te realiseren, is het nodig dat alle spelers de regels kennen en begrijpen. Daarom wordt het spelregelbewijs van seizoen 2022-2023 verplicht voor alle spelende leden vanaf 14 en tot en met 24 jaar.
Vanaf seizoen 2022-2023 wordt er na iedere wedstrijd gecontroleerd of een speler die heeft meegedaan in het bezit is van een spelregelbewijs. Wanneer een speler heeft meegedaan aan een wedstrijd , terwijl deze speler geen spelregelbewijs heeft, wordt een waarschuwing genoteerd en per mail kenbaar gemaakt aan de verenging en de speler zelf.
In totaal worden 7 waarschuwingen gegeven. Spelers krijgen op die manier de tijd om alsnog het spelregelbewijs te halen. Ook nieuwe leden krijgen zo voldoende tijd om aan de verplichting te voldoen.
Wanneer een speler voor de achtste keer meespeelt, zonder spelregelbewijs, wordt de speler aangemerkt als ongerechtige speler. Dit betekent dat het team de wedstrijd verliest met 20-0 en een boete ontvangt.
Hier is alle belangrijke informatie terug te vinden. Dus check even of je dat bewijs hebt, zo niet….ga ‘m halen voor het nieuwe seizoen start.
Je hebt hiervoor eerder een mail van FlowSparks ontvangen (soms kan dit via de mail van de ouders gebeurd zijn= email dat bekend is bij Sportlink). Via deze mail kan je en account aanmaken en online je spelregelbewijs halen. Heb je die mail niet meer, dan ga je naar: https://login.flowsparks.com/. Hier kan je een nieuw account aanmaken en een nieuw wachtwoord aanvragen.
Heb je geen mail maar heb je wel een spelregelbewijs nodig, neem dan even contact op met het bestuur.
Rules of the game >14 and <25 years mandatory 22/23
From the 2022/2023 season, all game members must be in possession of a rulebook.
In order to realize a more positive and safer sports climate, it is necessary that all players know and understand the rules. That is why the proof of rules of the 2022-2023 season is mandatory for all playing members from 14 and up to 24 years.
From the 2022-2023 season, it will be checked after every game whether a player who has participated is in possession of a game rule card. When a player has participated in a match, while this player does not have a rulebook, a warning is noted and notified by e-mail to the association and the player himself.
A total of 7 warnings are given. In this way, players are given the time to still obtain the Rules of the Game. This also gives new members sufficient time to comply with the obligation.
When a player enters for the eighth time, without a rulebook, the player is considered an ineligible player. This means that the team loses the match 20-0 and receives a penalty.
All important information can be found here. So check if you have that proof, if not… get it before the new season starts.

Let’s party - Kimbria feest 65 jaar (plus 2):
Nieuw Datum – 4 september 2022
Nadat het Kimbria feest in Juni niet heeft kunnen plaatsvinden, is er een nieuw datum: 4 september 2022
Daarmee wordt het Kimbria feest ook de Kick-off moment voor het nieuwe seizoen.
Het programma van dit feest is als volgt: 14.30 – 16.30: Basketbal toernooi voor de spelers van de U8 t/m U16 teams (op basis van Seizoen 2022-2023)
16.30: Opening van feestavond 17.00 – 18.00: Let us eat!! 18.00 – 21.00 Party with DJ Fer
Let’s party - Kimbria party 65 years (plus 2): New Date – 4 september 2022
After the Kimbria party was unable to take place in June, there is a new date: September 4, 2022
This makes the Kimbria party also the kick-off moment for the new season.
