Friday 10th June is #DurifDay, so treat yourself to the best with a glass of Riverina Durif at one of our wineries. Many of our Riverina wineries have a Durif in their range, proudly producing a regional varietal that is bold yet smooth on the finish. 

PICNIC & A HIKE TO WOOLSHED FALLS
Pack a picnic and take a hike to Woolshed Falls in Cocoparra National Park. Due to recent rains, this spectacular waterfall is flowing and makes the perfect weekend lunch location at this time of year. With its dramatic scenic views, Cocoparra National Park is fabulous for bushwalking and birdwatching, and only within a half hour drive from Griffith.

GUIDED MUSEUM TOUR
Sunday 5 June,  11am
Take a step back in time with a guided tour of Griffith Pioneer Park Museum, starting at 11am. Gather your friends and family and get yourself ready for a fun, insightful morning learning about Griffith's rich history in this open-air museum amongst the pictureseque bushland.

Check out De Bortoli Wines Artisan Markets to purchase unique handmade items with everything from jewellery to pottery and much more. There will be live music, wine tastings and wine sales at the Bilbul Cellar Door.

GRIFFITH SIKH GAMES
Saturday 11 June & Sunday 12 June
Griffith is gearing up for the 24th Shaheedi Tournament (Griffith Sikh Games) after 2 years of COVID-19 related cancelations. The Games take place at Ted Scobie Oval over the long weekend with thousands of visitors coming to town for this free event. Everyone is welcome to attend.

SUNDAY BLUES at PICCOLO FAMILY FARM
Sunday 12 June, 12pm - 4pm

The perfect way to spend a wintery Sunday over the June long weekend! Live blues music at Piccolo Family Farm's Cellar Door. Bring a picnic rug and chairs and enjoy the chilled-out atmosphere. Bar will be open and food available for the ultimate Sunday session. Tickets available HERE.

HILARY GEDDES QUARTET "PARKSIDE" TOUR @ PICCOLO FAMILY FARM

LIFESTYLE & LEISURE ROADSHOW
Griffith hosted the Lifestyle & Leisure Roadshow at Griffith Showgrounds at the beginning of May. Griffith Tourism Team and the Kidman Way Touring Route were present, talking to visitors and locals about all that is happening within the local tourism space.

BANNA LANE FESTIVAL 2022
Banna Lane Festival's 'Lighting Up The Lane' event was held on the evening of Saturday 8 May, where the community celebrated the newest additions to the city’s laneway. The lane was closed for the free event with live music, food and drinks, and children’s activities. If you haven't yet, be sure to check out the incredible new murals. RIVERINA FIELD DAYS 2022
Despite the cold, wet weather over the Riverina Field Days (13 & 14 May), stall holders were all very impressed by  how many people came through the gates. There were over 9200 attendants and 250+ stallholders, which is similar to previous years. 

NSW DESTINATION & VISITOR ECONOMY CONFERENCE
Our team attended the annual Local Government NSW Destination & Visitor Economy Conference in Orange. The conference provided inspiration and insight as to how to address the issues facing the visitor economy post-Covid, and provided valuable opportunity to network and share ideas with fellow tourism colleagues from around NSW.
