Megan Tai & Adam Gaffey
Grainmother Brewing Supplies is the brainchild of Griffith locals Megan & Adam. They are a dynamic duo with a strong passion for home brewing and wanted to share it with the local and greater community. Their shop located on Griffith’s main Street Banna Ave has a curated selection of fresh and interesting ingredients. Megan & Adam are a wealth of knowledge on home brewing and their shop has everything you need to start crafting your own home brew. Grainmother Brewing Supplies is open Friday’s 1pm to 5pm and Saturday’s 10am to 1pm. Unable to get to the Griffith shop? Don’t worry, Grainmother have a comprehensive online store.

Earlier this month, Griffith was featured on Everyday Gourmet with Justine Schofield. In this episode Visit Griffith teamed up the Almond Board of Australia to showcase the local area and our almond industry. Justine demonstrated the versatility of local almonds, cooking a mouth-watering Linguini with Almond & Tomato Sugo at Mandolé Orchard.  You can watch it here.

Riverina winery Calabria Family Wines was awarded Best in Show winner at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2021 for its top wine, Calabria The Iconic Grand Reserve Shiraz 2018. The award winning Shiraz is crafted from premium fruit sourced from 100-year-old vines on the family’s Barossa Valley ‘William’ Vineyard. Congratulations to the team at Calabria Family Wines.

No trip to Griffith is complete without a visit to Bertoldo’s Pasticceria. Established in 1952, this fourth generation family bakery is iconic to the area, making gorgeous bread, pastries and 'dolci'. Treat yourself to coffee with a biscotti, cannoli or nougat; pick up a fresh wrap or Murray Cod pie for lunch; and don't forget a scoop (or two) of their delicious gelato on your way out!

A family owned restaurant specialising in home-style Italian cooking with traditional pasta, gnocchi and gourmet pizzas as well as chicken, veal and seafood mains. Experience a warm and friendly atmosphere while dining-in at this licensed restaurant, take away from the pizzeria, or take advantage of the convenience of home delivery. Their menu is available via their Facebook page.

27 - 29 August 2021 
Although some events have been cancelled, there is still plenty to do to celebrate A Taste of Italy Griffith on 27 -29 August 2021. Dine in or get takeaway from one of our many Italian restaurants & cafes; enjoy a macchiato, cannoli, arancini, toppa & more. Mangia mangia! Shop til you drop at the Banna Ave sidewalk sale. Visit our cellar doors & enjoy a bottle of vino, explore the Italian Museum & Heritage Trail. Discover Valerio Ricetti’s cave.  Head to the website for more information.

A three day caravanning & camping expo under the big top at the Griffith Showground. See major brands on display. Caravans, Camping, Motoring, Camping Accessories, Motorhomes, Boats, Cars, Bikes, 4WDs and more. Please note the date has changed to the last weekend in August. Take a step back in time with a guided history tour aboard the Griffith Pioneer Park Museum train. Set amongst picturesque bushland, Griffith Pioneer Park Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of the City of Griffith. You will find original buildings, machinery, vehicles, antiques and even churches amongst the collections. Book tickets HERE.

Did you know that the Griffith Visitor Information Centre stocks one of the most diverse ranges of regional produce? Pasta, olives, spreads, nuts, pasta sauce... the list goes on. Can't decide?
