In addition to running the Inspired Coaching Programs, Danielle Benzon is delighted to have joined the team at Actorium on Commercial Drive and will be teaching Meisner and voice technique through the school for the foreseeable future.

Actorium was founded by Michelle Meyrink with a goal to build not only a training centre for actors but a community with a strong culture for daring authenticity, humour, warmth and openness. A place where fellow actors could challenge each other to bring out the best in their work, and a place where anyone who had an interest in acting, no matter what their age, background, experience was welcome to train, develop and see how far they could take their work.

The next one day intro to Meisner is on Sunday 5 March from 10am to 3pm. Come out and play!
Winona Reinsma - Critter Care Wildlife Society
Winona is part of our Advanced Training Program at Inspired Coaching, but she's not had much time to see us recently because in addition to all the valuable work she does as a mortgage broker, she's also been very involved in the Critter Care Wildlife Society. It's inspiring to see someone jump in so wholeheartedly to support a cause they're passionate about. If you're interested in supporting Winona or in getting involved in any way, please do check out the Critter Care Wildlife Society to learn about what you can do to help them make a difference.
Winona has been Facebook Live interviewing the artists who made these gorgeous chairs which will be up for Auction at the annual Critter Care Dinner in April.

Note from Danielle: Sadly I don't have anywhere to put one of those lovely chairs, but I plan to be at the dinner. Hopefully I'll see you there!

5Rhythms & Mindfulness with Lucia Horan

“Energy moves in waves. Waves move in rhythms. Rhythms move in patters. Patterns move in cycles. A human being is just this. Nothing more. Nothing less. A dance.” -- Gabrielle Roth

March 10 - 12, 12pm - 5pm
The Russian Hall
600 Campbell Avenue, Vancouver
Registration and more info: or contact Bettina (604) 767-3798/

The 5Rhythms are a map of how energy moves. It shows us the patterns, rhythms and cycles of life through the exploration of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical and Stillness.

In the dance we investigate the art of graceful transitions. How are we at beginning, following through and ending? Where are we moving with ease and where do we get stuck? With this knowledge we can bring balance and awareness into each stage of the creative process: from birth, through life, into death and to all endings.

In this workshop we will integrate the stillness of Buddhist mindfulness meditation with the moving meditations of the 5Rhythms.

In sitting meditation, we have the opportunity to observe the mind and body at rest through silent introspection. In the practice of the 5Rhythms, we engage in mindfulness while in motion. The two polarities of moving and sitting meditation together mirror the dance of life and open the door to peace, well being and balance.

We invite dancers to engage in sitting meditation in order to embody integration, balance, and insight. Join us for the groundbreaking union of these two deep
and wise practices.

No experience is required.
All workshop hours contribute to 5Rhythms® teachers training
prerequisites of the WAVES level.

About Lucia:
Having danced with Gabrielle Roth from the time of her birth, Lucia was born and raised in the Esalen community. She has been teaching 5Rhythms® since 1998 and is Core Faculty at 5Rhythms Global. She has been empowered to teach Buddhist dharma in the lineage of Noah Levine, Jack Kornfield, and the forest masters of Thailand. Her unique perspectives on insight have been published in the book “Dancing with Dharma: Essays on Movement And Dance in Western Buddhism”.

Transforming Fear on the Courageous Self Care Show!
