The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is hiring a part-time, seasonal Community Education Assistant to join our summer outreach team. Programming will include summer camp outreach with youth-serving organizations and community programs for the general public. Macedonia FACE is hiring a Community Ambassador:

The Community Ambassador will conduct street outreach and one-on-one contact with target population for The Wise Neighbor project, senior citizens residing in the Hill District, Homewood, and East Liberty neighborhoods of Pittsburgh. This role with Macedonia Family and Community Enrichment Center is a professional position working in the development and coordination of aging services, public health education, health promotion, and community outreach activities.

This full-time position supports aging in place and positively influencing social determinants of health. The Community Ambassador will incorporate community issues and concerns into outreach activities with sensitivity, awareness, and skills associated with working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. A commitment to maintaining excellence in all phases of the project is essential.

The Environmental Education Associate is a full-time employee who will create and maintain positive partnerships with schools and partners around the region. The Associate will organize, schedule and teach outreach programs and field trips for local school districts and summer camps. They will maintain and manage all educational materials.
