Beaujolais Cru Ex-Ship Offer

96 Point Beaujolais Cru

I've gone on record many times preaching about the affordability and absolute value of Beaujolais Cru. If the Jean-Marc Burgaud 2019s are your first foray into this genre then be duly advised that despite these modest prices, you have actually jumped in at the 'pointy' end and they don't get much better than this.

96 Points on a world scale from such an influential publication as James Suckling and for wines of this price is extremely rare. But that's exactly what we have here for the Grand Cras and Cote du Py. And here come the disclaimers. Stocks are extremely limited with maximum purchase limits applying. This is an ex-ship offer. Buy now with delivery in June.

Jean-Marc Burgaud Morgon Grands Cras 2019 @ $44.99

Very deep and complex, spicy and earthy nose, exerting a great gravitational pull that sucks you into this black hole of Beaujolais minerality. Stunning concentration but still graceful, thanks to the super-fine tannins and very elegant acidity that carry the staggeringly long finish. Rating: 96 Points; Stuart Pigott; JamesSuckling

Jean-Marc Burgaud Morgon Cote du Py 2019 @ $49.99

The blackest cherries you can imagine here, but it's startlingly fresh. Still very young but with a fabulously silky texture and delicate minerality that underlines the ravishing fruit beautifully. Very long, cool and stony finish that is so inspiring. Rating: 96 Points; Stuart Pigott; JamesSuckling
