Speranza Theater Company -  'A Piece of My Heart'

Playwright Shirley Lauro shares

A Piece of Her Heart

Please join us on

Friday, May 23rd

 for our Opening Night reception

where Speranza will present Ms. Lauro with the

Spirit of Hope Award

A PIECE OF MY HEART is my play that is closest to my heart.  Many others have joined me in this visceral reaction, and there has been a phenomenal response to the play. It's had close to 2000 productions around the world and seems to impact many generations of attendees that see it. As significant to today's teens as those who were alive -- some of whom fought in Nam. - Shirley Lauro

Also present that night will be special guest, TONY GOODSON, US Veteran and commander of the Samuel R. Shelton Post# 2294, to receive Speranza's donation to Jersey City's VFW.

Come raise a glass to honor these wonderful people,
and celebrate our Opening Night!
