Madison 3.0: Paper to Digital Legislatures in 30 Minutes

On September 5th we launched Madison 3.0, making it whole lot easier for you, your legislature and your community to go from 0–today’s painful paper-based policymaking to governing better, together with this 100% free software. Know a legislature in need of a facelift? Let us know! Want the code? Here's the code! And read our letters to elected officials or civic technologists.

Envision Chicago: Hands-on Civics Engage Chicago Students, City Council

It's clear that when government meets students on their terms, and respects their voices, great things can happen. Over eighty Chicago students dove into civic engagement this past spring on a user friendly website of the Chicago Municipal Code and discovered laws covering issues they cared about. Four winning students were honored at the July Chicago City Council with scholarships to help cover their school costs.
