March Update - Deadlines and daffodils

Hello All -

Hope you’ve been able to surface from year-end tasks to enjoy this balmy weather! With steering group members scattering FoL’s Prospectus across MIPIM; our Crossrail as Catalyst project moving swiftly toward the April 23rd launch; plus a slew of new events going live, it definitely feels like spring. To cap it off, Future London Leaders Round 6 graduates March 19th, at a celebration hosted by Pollard Thomas Edwards. Congratulations to a great group!

On that note, a few thank-yous are in order this month, to Lovell for hosting us at CIH Brighton, Lewis Silkin for a great Leaders Plus masterclass, and Campbell Tickell for taking their support of FLL to the next level. On the home front, Programme and Research Lead Jennifer Johnson â€“ who’s leading on most of our current work – should also be able to surface soon, as Jo Wilson rejoins as part-time Head of Policy (yay!).

Finally, a warm welcome to another two interesting women, HA chief executives Sara Thakkar of Wandle Housing Association and Angela McConville of Westway Development Trust, who signed their innovative organisations on last week, and are keen to take advantage of all that Future of London offers its members.

Thanks and see you out there!

FLL: King's Cross site visit looks beyond the station

King's Cross
On February 25th, candidates from Round 7 of Future London Leaders visited King's Cross to view the progress of one of Europe's largest regeneration projects. The visit took candidates away from the main transport hub to learn about ongoing development, meanwhile uses, and community engagement. Read the full report on our website, and check out photos from the visit on our Flickr page!
