We need councillors who will advocate for our community

The elections are little more than a month away. Dalston Futures is one of the groups working with Hackney Unites to ensure that we maximise our communities' participation in the democratic process and we that we have an opportunity to question the candidates as to what they stand for.

The Dalston meeting will be at 6:30pm on 6 May at the Trinity Centre on Beechwood Road, and we need help distributing leaflets (see below). If you can help distribute leaflets, please email, you can also help by:
  • Posting messages on twitter (using hashtag #hackneyspeaks)
  • Liking our Facebook page 'Hackneyspeaks election project' (and inviting your friends to do the same)
  • Committing to attend on the 6 May
  • Help us identify the ‘key issues’ that the meeting will focus on by completing a short on-line survey.
