I know that my kids take a lot of time, so it is a treat for me to carve out the space to read and reflect on parenting. We all parent in different ways, be it by instinct, observation, or reaction. Some of us even read parts of “how to” books for guidance (Do any of us ever have time to finish a book? If you do, don’t rub it in!).

This October 20, we’ll take on Stuck in the Middle with You: A Memoir of Parenting in Three Genders, by Jennifer Finney Boylan. Here’s an excerpt from the first chapter so you can get your toes wet. You don’t need to read the whole book to come and enjoy the discussion! Just get as far as you can and be ready for spoilers and healthy debate!

As always, dinner and childcare will be provided free with advance registration, hereI am excited to participate in this group and look forward to shaping the group with all of you.
