Labor Day

Dear Families, Polly Pagenhart Photo

Labor Day is often an occasion to get together with our family and friends for BBQs, to enjoy the outdoors, and reflect the fun times we've had during the summer. It is also a time to pay homage to the champions of our labor movement and express our gratitude to all who continue working hard to bring civil and workers' rights to those who still do not have access to livable working conditions.

We honor all of you who dedicate your lives to making a better world for our families and invite those who may still be on the "sidewalk" to jump right in there with us! Join the working families movement. Share your talents. Speak out! Together, we can create a California where all working families can thrive as valued community members and change-makers.

In Solidarity,
Renata Moreira

Our Family Coalition Policy & Communications Director
